Literary critic Steven Moore, who has been instrumental in championing works of important writers such as William Gaddis & David Foster Wallace, wrote: "it would be no exaggeration to say that ALEXANDER THEROUX is one of the greatest writers of all time." Alexander Theroux (born 1939), best known for his critically acclaimed novel Darconville's Cat (1981), was twice nominated for the National Book Award. Recent published books include collections of poetry, short stories, fables, truisms, and essays. He lives in Barnstable, MA.

GARY LLOYD NOLAND was born in Seattle in 1957.
